After months of development during the Yuri Game Jam, Love Is In the Cards is available to play!  This was a bit of an experimental title for me mechanically, so I'm pretty happy with how functional the card game elements are!  And a quick shout out on that front to Arcade, who designed the specifics of the card interactions.  This was also my first time working with Max, who I met in the game jam Discord and was an MVP with the character sprites and designs, and Maia Astra, who made some lovely backgrounds to set the VN sections against.  A special shout out to my partner Mac, who wrote all the little dialogue sections for your enjoyment.  Also returning from my previous work on The Good Hunter is Mother Dissicant, who made all the character voice chatter and background sounds, along with some lovely music that still needs to make it's way into the build.

As of writing this, the game is in it's initial release state, as I recover from the final push to get this game working well enough to view all the individual contributions.  There's a handful of bugs I plan on ironing out ASAP, including some UI elements are out of place or mis-scaled on non 16:9 displays or anything above 1080p.  I should also be able to whip up a system test for all the card abilities to make sure they don't break the game state as some do (a couple are throwing NullReferenceExceptions that break the game state, you'll have to close and re-open the game to fix them currently and maybe not use the same card).

Additionally, I understand that the card system has a bit of an onboarding problem, with it not always being clear where to put what kinds of cards and how their effects change the game state.  We have some onboarding tutorialization in the works to make the initial interaction flow more clear, along with a staggered character rollout to clarify pairings and visual novel scene unlocks.  This should give you a little taste of the character before you get any scenes with them, which should help their personalities shine through.
